HI THERE

I began my triathlon journey 5 years ago when I signed up for my first Olympic distance race in Boulder. I was one of the few athletes without a wetsuit, rode my bike in my jammers and no shirt, then tossed on my favorite tank top (pictured here) for the run! I immediately got the triathlon bug and have completed numerous races since. Favorite race to date would have to be Ironman Wisconsin 2021! When I'm not training or racing, I play hockey, ski, raft and adventure as much as possible with my dog Kona. Oh and I do work outside of all the fun...I'm a financial planner with the Investment Center Advisor Group in Loveland!

Chelsea was introduced into the triathlon community through her husband and father that randomly signed up for an Ironman back in 2018. Her background has no swiming, biking or running and so it wasn't something she saw herself getting involved in. However, after watching races and seeing the impact of the sport on her close relatives, she decided to try it out. She did her first Sprint in 2019- The Diva Tri- and hated it. Fast forward, through Covid and training more intentionally she decided to give 70.3 a shot and that was it, she got hooked into a sport that pushes you personally and gives you a unique community. She is hoping to build the BTC community in Boulder and looks forward to being part of the journey with you all!
